As Kalin notes, "The way I'm going to make the spinning signs only will add about 14 cents per sign. If you take a coroplast sign and split the groove on just one side and then flip it over and split the other side of the sign, you create a windmill.
Kinda like this:
\______.______
......................\
There will be one metal stake with a "crimp" on it that will have a plastic washer sit on it. Then the sign will sit on that. It actually works quite well."
Thanks for posting the info Butch. I wish the .gif of the sign would actually show it spinning. I had fun last night with my Chuck Baldwin sign last night working out the kinks.
ReplyDeleteShirts can end up being the biggest cost per item, so i wanted to design something with just one color. Additional colors usually end up adding $1 per shirt. Also, shop around if you like yellow. That was fashionable last year and screen printers are trying to unload their inventory of yellow shirts. Coroplast signs come in 2 colors, white and yellow, so their can be a cost savings to go with sign making.
Most people reading this blog a probably candidates who are working on collecting funds for their campaigns. I am no different so I am humbly asking for donations to my campaign. Even if it's five or ten dollars, it will go a long way.
